The International Conference on Aspect-Oriented Software Development (AOSD) is the premier conference on software modularity, with an emphasis on modular structures that cut across traditional abstraction boundaries. The conference offers several tracks, including the Research and Industry Tracks, which bring together leading researchers and practitioners working in such fields as software engineering, programming languages, systems, and others.

AOSD attracts an international audience of 200 participants from different communities and mixing practitioners and academics. AOSD 2011 seeks to foster richer notions of modularity and abstractions for software and software-intensive systems increasing the emphasis on modularity not only of code, but across lifecycle artifacts (e.g., from requirements to tests). AOSD 2011 is concerned with modularity across software ecosystems, including the organizations and processes that define, develop, deploy, operate, protect, evolve and use these systems in a more agile way. AOSD’11 will dedicate a whole day to the industrial practices related to an increased modularity in software development. This day will include an industrial keynote, tutorials, tool demonstrations and industrial presentations.

The Venue. In 2011, the AOSD conference will be held in Porto de Galinhas, Brazil. Porto de Galinhas has been elected by a number of tourist guides one of the best beaches in Brazil. It is well-known for its natural pools, consequence of its coral riffs, and has a rich tourist infrastructure. Porto de Galinhas is located 50Km to the south of Recife. Recife is one of the largest cities in Brazil and a hub for technology-related companies. In particular, the old city port went through a restoration 15 years ago and is now known as the Digital Port ("Porto Digital") due to the large concentration of IT companies that it hosts.

We are looking for both academic and industrial sponsors for the organization of this conference. By sponsoring this event you have the opportunity to advertise your tools, methodologies and success stories and to make the conference audience aware of them.

Levels of Sponsorship and Benefits

AOSD 2011 welcomes four levels of general sponsorship: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. In addition, we welcome support on specific activities and resources.

Platinum Sponsor - USD 4,900
The Platinum sponsor will get the highest level of visibility before and during the conference and the widest range of benefits. In fact, several benefits are exclusive to the Platinum sponsor, such as those in the four first bullets in the following. In addition, your organization will get the highest visibility in all the announcements and publicity material. The benefits of a Platinum Sponsor are:

• Inclusion of logo on event T-shirt (free distribution to all participants of the conference)
• You can provide a one-minute movie (in English) about your company to be exhibited in the opening session. We will present your DVD-based or computer-based movie in a widely used standard format.

The Gold Sponsor is the second highest category to support AOSD 2011, and the following benefits are associated with this level:

Supporting the Welcome Cocktail or Conference Dinner (2 quotas) – USD 2,500 each
We are offering a welcome cocktail to all attendees, in which food and drinks (soft drinks, beer, tropical drinks, and mineral water) are provided. The benefits to the supporter are:

• We will announce that the welcome cocktail/conference dinner is supported by your company on the opening session.

Supporting the Coffee-Breaks – USD 1,500 each
We are offering coffee-breaks once a day to all attendees, in which a small assortment of cakes, cookies, small sandwiches, small loaves of different kinds of bread and croissant will be provided, as well as water, coffee, milk and juice. The benefits to the supporter are:

• We will announce that the coffee-break is supported by your company during the opening session and at the end of each technical session.
