Abstract
Numerous separation of concerns techniques are available in domain-specific modeling. This demonstration will begin by illustrating the powerful conceptualization benefits provided by viewpoints. The viewpoint technique, however, as implemented in our tools, has been found to be insufficient for capturing many crosscutting modeling concerns. An aspect-oriented approach to model-integrated computing will be motivated and presented as a method for modularizing those concerns that are scattered across a model hierarchy.
